InSight Eyewear was established in 2004 by Cathy Shue. After more than 25 years in the optical industry, Cathy set out to create a business where your care and experience is the top priority, that by the time you leave the store, you'll be wowed by your experience. That vision is InSight Eyewear.

For more than 18 years InSight Eyewear has been serving the Monterey Peninsula. In 2022, InSight moved to it's forever home and expanded Cathy's original vision, now with a state of the art on-site laboratory, an even larger selection of frames and a knowledgeable and helpful  staff. With more than 45 years experience, Cathy is still just as passionate and has passed that passion on to her staff.
